Due to the major stress of being pregnant and left alone to care for the major needs of her Lincolnshire estate, just a few months after her husband’s death, my mother Hannah prematurely gave birth to their only child, me, Isaac Newton, on Christmas Day, December 25 th of 1642. The moment of my birth, my mother, Hannah reportedly said that her newborn baby, Isaac was so small she could have fit him inside a teacup.
