STAFF TRAINING AWARDS AEW ASSOCIATION OF ELECTRICAL WHOLESALERS AWARDS 2022

T he second part of the AEW Awards lunch was the Staff Training Awards presented by Tracy Hewett, Head of Education and Training with the EDA (Electrical Distributors’ Association). Founded in 1914, the EDA is the trade association for electrical wholesale distributors in the UK.The Staff Training Awards rewarded the best learner in each group as well as the runner-up with points being awarded for the results in each

individual module. A distinction earned three points, a credit earned two points and a pass earned one point. The more modules that a learner completed and the better the results achieved in each module, determined who won the awards. The Staff Training Awards consisted of 12 awards altogether, two for each of the 6 groups, one ‘Winner’ and one ‘Runner-Up’ These were presented in alphabetical order, starting with CEF.

CEF Winner: Thomas Dunner CEF Dublin, City Centre

EWL ELECTRIC Winner: Patrycja Trudzik EWL Electric Head Office

FEGIME IRELAND Joint Winner: Glen Murphy, Euro Sales, Ringsend

CEF Runner-up: Paul Walsh CEF Dublin, City Centre

EWL ELECTRIC Runner-up: Neil Scally Eastern Electrical, Athlone

FFEGIME IRELAND Joint Winner: Lukas Plominski, Euro Sales, Ringsend

IEBG Winner: Donal Langford, Clonmel Electrical

KELLIHERS Winner: Peter Murray Ballymount Branch

INDEPENDENTS Winner: Ethan Kerin CSGL, Ennis

IEBG Runner-up: Keith Cotter, MCK Electrical Cork

KELLIHERS Runner-up: Emmet Gaule Waterford Branch

INDEPENDENTS Runner-up: Lauren Myers Monaghan Electrical
