This category is open to electrical contractors working in the domestic sector. Entries are judged on a presentation of how they worked positively on a new build or upgrade domestic electrical project to deliver high standards and meet strict deadlines. Cosgrove Electrical Services were deemed worthy winners due to its “meteoric rise to success through sheer hard work.” Judges favoured how the contractor has a presence in every sector and that they are a sustainable business providing impressive and quality work. The case study submitted by them was the Fulcrum Village Building, UCD Bellfield, Dublin. Cosgrove Electrical Services was selected to complete this landmark flagship project as part of the Phase 1, Masterplan for UCD. The contractor assisted with providing a detailed 3D BIM model as part of the electrical services coordination to bring the design concept to reality in a digital twin format prior to the installation on site. The prestigious development brought innovation, creativity in design and above all an attention to detail to every aspect of the electrical installation in a shared and collaborative manner. Cosgrove Electrical was founded in 1988 and inspires to be a vibrant young dynamic electrical engineering practice. The past 20 years have presented a number of challenges in which the company has navigated through to become a leading brand name in the electrical contractor category.
