Donor Advised Funds A Donor Advised Fund is an easy, cost-effective way for donors to support charitable projects anywhere in the world, at any time they choose. Gifts to Donor Advised Funds qualify for an immediate tax deduction, regardless of when the donor decides to recommend a contribution. Foundation staff will confirm that the donor’s charities meet IRS requirements and then issue a check from the Donor Advised Fund.
