Indian Springs 8th grade students morphed into grant makers in 2022 when the HANDS Foundation presented Charitable Champions. The students learned about the role of non-profits in our community, then set about writing grant requests for their favorite charities. As a true example of project-based learning, the best presentations were selected to award real grant dollars to local organizations.
