Making Spirits Bright With Moe A HOLIDAY PARTY LIKE NO OTHER
Every year, we find a way to bring people together for the holidays, and every year, we raise the bar. We’re not just talking about lights and cookies. We’re talking full-blown parties where everything is on the house and everyone leaves with a smile on their face. If you’ve been around for a while, you know what we’re talking about. In past years, we’ve gotten the Just Call Moe family together and taken over Fun Spot in Orlando for a fun, exciting day of rides, food,
and good vibes for everyone. Last year, we went wild at Gatorland, and families got to meet gators and enjoy the park without spending a dime. We like to go big for these events and invite the people who matter most. It’s not about promoting the firm. We aim to celebrate all the people who’ve supported us over the years, including our clients, families, friends, and VIPs. It’s our way of saying thank you and giving back in our own way. This year, we’re switching things up with something brand-new. The JustCallMoe Holiday Party 2025 will be on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Enzian Theater in Maitland. Get your photo with Santa from 9 a.m. to noon. We will be showing “Elf” starting at 11 a.m. You must RSVP at JustCall.moe/HolidayParty2025 or by scanning the QR code below. (An RSVP does not guarantee a seat for the movie. Seating is first- come, first served.) Tickets are limited this year because of the theater’s size, so we want to make sure everyone who wants to join has a chance to grab a spot. We’ll post details on social media and share a few sneak peeks of what’s in store, so be sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook. Whether you’ve been to one of these holiday events before or this will be the first time, we hope you’ll come and celebrate the season with us. It’s our way of saying thanks for being part of the Just Call Moe family. All you have to do is show up and enjoy. See you at the movies. Happy holidays from all of us at Just Call Moe!

FILL YOUR HOLIDAY WITH GRATITUDE AND GAMES Whisking Up New Traditions This Thanksgiving
The holidays are a magical time, bringing loved ones along with a little chaos together. Between the pie-making and travel plans, it can be easy to forget what we’re gathering to celebrate. This Thanksgiving, let’s not just carve the turkey, but also carve out some time for mindful traditions the whole family can enjoy. From sharing what you’re thankful for to hosting a family Thanksgiving talent show, this year is the perfect chance to create new traditions that deepen connections and spark laughter. Get ready to
what they most appreciate. You can take turns reading them after dinner and even make a guessing game out of who wrote what. It could be as simple as gathering around the table for breakfast and everyone saying one thing they’re grateful for. Turkey Day Trivia There’s no better way to digest after the big Thanksgiving feast than having fun. Pick out some of your favorite board games or a deck of cards for a post-meal game night. You could test everyone’s knowledge with a holiday-themed trivia competition or create a scavenger hunt around the house. No matter the game, ensure everyone from grandparents to kids can join in. Keep it focused on connection, not just winning. If you want to go all out, challenge all your guests to be ready with their best skills for a family talent show.
A Soundtrack to the Stuffing Create a perfect soundtrack you can play while everyone helps with the cooking or winds down after dessert. Before the big day, ask everyone in the family to add one or two songs to a Thanksgiving playlist. Prompt them to pick tunes that remind them of the season, happy memories, the joys of being together, or even their favorite dishes. You can keep adding to this list in subsequent years, turning the songs into a playable family history.
gobble up the fun together. Gather for Gratitude
Thanksgiving is all about honoring what we are grateful for in life, and it can be a fun activity for you and your children to share. You can gamify gratitude in several ways, like creating a thankfulness jar where everybody adds slips of paper describing

event has quickly become one of our favorites because it allows us to bring people together, give back, and have a lot of fun. We want to send out a huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, brought their crew, and showed up with big energy. We’re proud to have raised more than $10,000 for the Yellow Brick Road Foundation. Your support will go a long way toward advancing the group’s mission to raise awareness of congenital heart disease and serve those affected. Of course, we can’t forget our superstar comedians like Ricky Reyes, Sean Finnerty, and Madison Bakich. They, along with emcee Ross McCoy, absolutely crushed it on stage. If your face hurt from laughing, you weren’t alone. We got to catch up with some familiar faces and meet many new ones.

MOE’S $20K MOTORCYCLE GIVEAWAY IS LIVE WIN THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE
Every year, we team up with attorneys across the country to do something big for motorcycle riders. We participate in a motorcycle giveaway, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. One lucky rider gets to take home the bike of their dreams (valued up to $20,000), and it’s completely free to enter. This giveaway is sponsored by the National Academy of Motorcycle Injury Lawyers (NAMIL), and Moe just happens to be the group’s president. We’ve made it our mission to support riders across the country, and this is one way we give back. Don’t think people actually win? Let’s talk about last year’s lucky rider. Colin Morini walked away with a brand-new Honda Africa Twin after his name was drawn in the 2024 giveaway. Seeing the excitement on the faces of winners like Colin is something we look forward to every year. There’s no catch. No fine print. No gimmicks. The sweepstakes are open to riders across the U.S., and all you have to do is enter before the Dec. 10 deadline. If your name is drawn, you pick the bike. We’ll cover the cost up to $20,000.
It’s a nationwide contest, but Florida riders have a special connection to this one. Our office is right in the middle of the action, and Moe has been representing bikers in this community for years. That’s why we encourage our local riders to throw their name in. It only takes a second.
To enter, scan the QR code below or head over to MoeBiker.com . If you’ve been dreaming about a new bike, now’s the time to go for it. Good luck!

HOW A WORLD CUP QUALIFIER EXPLODED INTO A REAL WAR The Soccer Match That Launched an Invasion
In the summer of 1969, what should’ve been a sweaty, rowdy World Cup qualifier turned into one of history’s strangest armed conflicts. El Salvador and Honduras, two Central American neighbors with a long history of simmering tension, found themselves lacing up not just for soccer but for war.
On July 14, El Salvador used that World Cup qualification game to send troops across
the border. Blackouts darkened both capitals as air strikes lit up the skies. For four days, just 100 hours, the conflict raged. The war ended almost
The fuse? A three-game soccer series, drenched in passion, politics, and pent-up resentment. The first match in Honduras ended with riots. The second, in El Salvador,
saw tensions combust into full-blown violence. The third, a tie-breaker in Mexico City, sent
as quickly as it began, thanks to pressure from the Organization of American States, but the damage lingered. Nearly 3,000 people were killed or injured. It shredded diplomatic ties — and it took 11 years for a peace treaty to be signed.

To this day, many Salvadorans regard the “Football War” as a moment of national pride, proof that even a tiny nation can pack a serious punch when pushed too far. So, next time someone tells you sports aren’t political, remind them that in 1969, a soccer ball started a war.
