The skills gap

One of the primary ways business schools can make a difference in their students’ lives is by helping them attain the skills they need to reach the next stage of their career. Sheffield Business School dean Professor Conor Moss elaborates

With this in mind, my colleagues and I have worked together extensively over the past two years to develop a new strategy. Our mission is to lead transformative change for our students, businesses and society by empowering future leaders through a highly innovative and applied curriculum. We also aim to become a catalyst for collaboration by connecting organisations with students to find enterprising solutions to real-world problems, driving societal change through our research, innovation and knowledge‑exchange activities.
