Mentor Emilie Thal- acker is a commercial insur- ance broker at USI, special- izing in construction-focused risk management. She is vice chair of the Dallas BA’s Young Professionals Council.

Mentor Vickie Watta- napongwat is vice president and co-founder of Preserve Custom Homes. She holds a bachelor’s degree in engineer- ing and a financial accounting certificate from NYU School of Continuing and Profes- sional Studies, as well as an interior design certificate from the New York Institute of Art and Design. Vickie currently serves on the Dallas BA board of directors.
Mentee Rawan Akram is a project engineer at The Beck Group with experience in both residential and com- mercial construction. She is pursuing a degree in construc- tion management.
Mentee Jessie Wilson is pursuing a B.S.degree in con- struction management after earning an A.A.S. in the same field from Collin College. She works as an assistant project coordinator at G2 General Contractors.
