The award was renamed in honor of the 2017 recipient, Clyde Anderson, an exemplary salesman who applied those skills in service to the Dallas Builders Association, serving it in just about every capacity you could imagine. A member of the Dallas BA for 15 years, LP Building Solutions has in- vested considerable time and resources into the Association over the years. “When there is a need, they can always be counted on to help us through it,” said President Hoodwin- Moore during the presentation.

2025 President Kelly Hoodwin-Moore presents Chris Clay, 2-10 Home - buyers Warranty, with the Shorty Howard Award, given annually to the Association’s top membership recruiter. It is Clay’s fourth time to be honored with this award.
Phil Smith of FACETS Appliances, Kitchens & Baths was elected an Honored Life Director of the Association in August and receives his plaque at Installation ceremonies Oct. 3. Outgoing President Kelly Hoodwin-Moore makes the presentation.
