MY WIFE, THE SUPER MOM

A GIANT ‘THANK YOU’ TO THE BEST OF THE BEST

Mothers are the greatest blessing in our lives. They love us unconditionally and wholeheartedly, support us in all we do, and are our greatest source of reason and inspiration. From the sidelines, they will always be our best cheerleaders in all that we do and, no matter what, will want to see us succeed and flourish.

I’m incredibly fortunate to have a great mom who always pushed me to exceed expectations, set a great example,

and taught me the gift of unconditional love. Thanks to my mom, I have incredible memories of my childhood. Now that I’m grown and have a family, my wife, Nicole, has me in awe every day. For the past decade or so, I’ve had front- row seats to watch her bring two amazing children into this world and raise them with strength, confidence, love, and grace. “Amazing” is an understatement when describing how admirable Nicole is as a mom to my kids, Finn and Harlow. She prioritizes our family and the children’s schooling and invests endless time and energy into providing them with the best education possible. However, with that, she also finds just the right balance and allows them the space they need to grow and find themselves. Today, more than ever, this is exceptionally important to enable them to be unique and explore.

A Mother’s Day Message From Finn And Harlow

“As we write this, we are currently in San Diego on our way to a museum for such an amazing experience! Our mom is the best because she plans the best trips and ensures we have the best time. We love you, Mom!”

Nicole, I’m incredibly thankful for you as a mother, wife, and best friend. Mom, I cherish you and thank you for your unwavering love

and support. And to all of you amazing, hardworking moms out there, I wish you a fabulous day — you are appreciated beyond words! Happy Mother’s Day!

In early 2023, Pepsi shocked the public by rebranding its lemon-lime soda Sierra Mist as Starry. Though the move raised eyebrows and spawned jokes, the success of the company’s rebranding strategy remains to be seen. Rebranding is always tricky and opens you up to the wrong kind of attention. So, if you’re considering it for your business, how do you ensure you get the right reactions? DON’T BE ‘STARRY’-EYED ABOUT YOUR STRATEGY REBRANDING THE RIGHT WAY

Rebranding is more than a new company name, updated logo, or website. It’s about your business’s identity and overall strategy for the future. Since rebranding is not a quick fix, every business owner should evaluate their reasons for wanting to rebrand before making the leap. Simply “feeling” like it’s time for a change is not enough. Ask what you’re hoping to accomplish, then consider whether you need to rebrand to achieve it. Your brand may just need a “facelift” with a tweaked logo, new company colors, or a refreshed social media presence. If you’re committed to rebranding, do it with clear eyes and an awareness of how your efforts could go wrong. One famous example was Tropicana (also owned by PepsiCo) in 2009. The company replaced its instantly recognizable image of a straw in an orange with a generic picture of a glass of orange juice. Consumers felt

Companies rebrand for many reasons. Many do so after flagging sales to revitalize interest or reach a new market. Others rebrand to reflect a significant change in the

it cheapened the product — and some even had trouble finding it. Tropicana quickly switched back to its old packaging, but it was a $50 million mistake. Rebranding is a balancing act between refreshing your image and retaining the elements that made your company successful in the first place. Business leaders should strongly consider hiring a rebranding expert who understands the risks before beginning an overhaul. It’s essential to understand your current customer base and target market. Otherwise, you could alienate both — and all your money, time, and effort could fall flat.

business, like an acquisition or considerable shift in products or services. Rebranding is also a tried-and-true method for companies to move on from bad publicity. But rebranding is more than renaming your business — in fact, you don’t necessarily need to rename your business at all.

“WOW! Case Barnett and his team are AWESOME. Specially Dena. We can’t thank them enough for all their hard work. About a year ago my dad got into a really bad accident that cost his life. We were devastated , stressed out and overwhelmed. No one wants to get into an accident and deal with the aftermath. We are so grateful to have met Case and Dena because their team made this entire process so seamless and easy for us. Every time we were on the phone with Dena and Case we noticed how much they truly cared about their clients. We felt a huge relief when they handled all the things related to the accident, but most importantly dealing with the other person’s insurance. Dena handled all of the

Keep two eyes peeled for two-wheeled vehicles! As a driver, this guideline has likely been drilled into your head — and for good reason! Motorcycles are much more dangerous than cars simply because when you’re riding a motorcycle, you don’t have a protective shell around you to offer increased coverage in the event of an accident. Did you know that lane splitting, or operating a motorcycle through rows of stopped or moving vehicles in the same lane on both divided and undivided highways, roads, and streets, is legal in California? However, just because it’s legal doesn’t necessarily mean it should be done — especially in situations where it is unsafe to do so. As personal injury and accident attorneys, we have found that most jury members frown upon lane splitting. If it was involved in your case, the action could harm it, even if the involved car's driver was at fault. Here’s the thing: when most people think about motorcyclists, they have visions of driving recklessly, weaving in and out of traffic, and speeding by them on the freeway. They believe that if the motorcyclist gets hurt, it’s on them since they knew the risks and rode anyway. However, we know that isn’t always the case. This is why we advise motorcycle drivers to be aware of these feelings that other drivers on the road may have and to be extra cautious about their speed, patterns, and behaviors on the road. In addition to ensuring visibility, it’s just as important in California to, although it’s legal, only lane split when it is safe to do so. In a perfect world, we’d advise not to lane split at all! In honor of Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, we urge everyone, whether you own a car, motorcycle, or both, to go the extra mile to keep everyone on the road safe! Buckle up, check your mirrors, be aware of hazards, weather, and road conditions, and wear a helmet! Your life and the lives of others around you depend on it.

If you choose a themed murder mystery, level up your event with a matching menu and decor! For games taking place in England, whip up a shepherd's pie and make a cardboard cutout of Big Ben. For Havana Nights, plan a build-your-own Cubano bar and throw on an Afro-Cuban playlist. You can be as over-the-top as you like. Remember, it’s Mystery Month!

What is a murder mystery dinner? A murder mystery dinner is essentially a real-life game of Clue. You invite friends over for dinner and turn your home into the set of “Knives Out” — without the blood, of course. Each of your friends takes on the persona of a character in the story, and when one of them is “murdered,” you compete to uncover who dunnit. Step 1: Pick your kit. Planning a murder mystery dinner from scratch would take the ingenuity of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Luckily, you have several ready-made mysteries to choose from! You can find boxes from Masters of
