DoYourRehab In theComfort of YourOwnHome inaConfidential FaceTime-Like Session A computer or a laptop that has camera and audio capabilities is required, as well as the browser Google Chrome or Firefox. You will need a quiet safe space around your computer to be able to move as this session will offer you movement assessment, exercise, stretching and pain management options and other self-care instructions that you can be doing at home. You will need access to your phone in the unlikely event of a disconnection. Insurance Coverage for Video Tele-Rehabilitation So far, ICBC and the extended health companies Canada Life (formerly Great West Life), SunLife and Group Health are covering tele-rehab sessions (please check your plan for your particular coverage), but discussions are underway as other companies manage and adapt their policies to reflect the current situation. Equilibrium has always given me the best care possible! Victoria is a amazing Kinesiologist and will really work with you to make sure you are recovering at a good pace. In these trying times, Equilibrium has gone above and beyond to help their clients who are at home. The teleconference I had with Victoria was great! Made me forget my worries for a bit seeing a friendly face, as she walked me through the exercises! So if you are wondering if you should do a teleconference for Kinesiology, I say yes! Give it a go!
