Lunch A complimentary meal will be served at 5:00 PM before the sale. Terms & Conditions All cattle sell according to the terms and conditions of the American Angus Association. Retained Interest in All Bulls We are selling 100% possession and retaining 1/2 semen interest in all bulls. This means the bull is totally in your control in how you want to handle him, and you get 100% of the salvage value of the bull. We are simply reserving the right to a share of semen sales and AI certificate revenue from the bull if at some time in the future semen sales become a possibility. If you sell the bull to another breeder, Birk Genetics retains the semen interest. Realistically, it is unlikely that large amounts of semen will be sold from many bulls. Semen collection will be arranged at the convenience of the owner of the possession interest. Herd Health All sale cattle will have health papers for out of state transportation. All Birk Genetics Cattle Genomically-Enhanced EPDs, Parentage Verified, PI-BVD Free, Guaranteed, AHIR Records & Free Delivery. We submit DNA on every animal and, thereby, obtain parentage verification and genomically enhanced EPDs on each animal which allow us to guarantee that the pedigree is accurate, and the resulting EPDs are of the highest accuracy possible for non- parent Angus cattle. Marketing Assistance Birk Genetics is eager to assist any purchaser of any cattle from us in their marketing efforts. This includes many aspects, such as providing sire information and health protocols regarding your feeder cattle to an auction market, helping you find a feedlot that is a good fit for you, advising you on marketing progeny from females purchased here, and many others. We have some experience in all of these areas. Just ask, and we will provide any assistance that we can. Delivery of Sale Cattle Cattle purchased in our sale will be delivered to CENTRAL locations in the lower 48 states without cost to the buyer. In some cases, this may require additional transportation by the buyer from the central location to their farm. EVERY effort will be made to deliver to the buyer’s farm or to a CONVENIENT location as close to the buyer’s farm as possible.
