Main Function of Job

Aim: • The Business Intelligence Manager will work cooperatively with product experts and senior managers across the university to ensure quality reporting is delivered and understood.

• Deliver regular and accurate performance information to key stakeholders against agreed KPI’s.

• Manage the acquisition and distribution of marketplace information through competitor monitoring, international market analysis, and client / prospect intelligence gathering. • Support key stakeholders in producing recommendations for the commercial and academic development of the University’s portfolio of product propositions including market developments (domestic and international).

Duties: • Gathering requirements and defining KPI’s for Business Intelligence.

Job Title: Business Intelligence Manager

• Ensures that the use of business intelligence applications enhances business decision making capabilities.

• Collating and disseminating KPI’s for The University, tracking ULaw’s performance in relation to the sector.

Career (R&R) Level: Team Leader / Manager

• Manage the provision of information on the University’s performance against agreed metrics. Manage the production and distribution of performance forecasting information across all products and services. • Manage the acquisition, analysis, reporting and recommend actions on internal, competitor and sector intelligence – including student feedback, law firms, sponsoring organisations, new entrants, current and prospective business partners and internal market opportunities.
