Communion from the Reserved Sacrament
Celebrant: The Gifts of God for the People of God. Take them in remembrance that Christ died for you, and feed on him in your hearts by faith, with thanksgiving. INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOLY COMMUNION All are welcome to come participate in Holy Communion. Our tradition is to receive both bread and wine. Please cup your hands with your palms up to indicate you want communion. If you prefer, you may also receive the bread only. Just ask for bread only. If you prefer not to receive communion, please cross your arms across your chest for a blessing. The Celebrant and altar party receive the sacraments. At the administration of Holy Communion, the minister will say
The Body of Christ, the bread of heaven. The Blood of Christ, the cup of salvation
Concluding Collect BCP 282 Celebrant: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, we pray you to set your passion, cross, and death between your judgment and our souls, now and in the hour of our death. Give mercy and grace to the living; pardon and rest to the dead; to your holy Church peace and concord; and to us sinners everlasting life and glory; for with the Father and Holy Spirit you live and reign, one God, now and forever. Amen.
