FE — Functional End Functional End option is available for use on many wall, base, desk and vanity cabinets. See each section for information regarding availability of Modify Depth option and sizing information. Minimum depth for overlay door styles in 9”. INSET: 24” depth cabinets are only available with the single door functional end option; 27” is the maximum depth available for single door functional end; Minimum depth is 10”. When adding a Functional End, please note the following: • Cabinet must be All Plywood Construction (APC) • 24” Deep cabinets are available with one door or two doors on the functional end. • Single door Functional End will be hinged at the back of cabinet. Allow proper clearance for door to open. • Must specify left, right or both sides of the cabinet. • When FH, FIFD, FIMD or IF option is selected, the option will apply to front and functional end side of cabinet. Note: When choosing Functional End option, the following options are excluded: BO, CC, ES, FO, P, RTK, TKU, VT, MTLDINSG, MTLDINRG, MTLDFGINSG, MTLDFGINRG, SSSCIN, SSWIN, SDWIN and TOTIN. Wall cabinets:
• Full-height door cabinets receive one full-height functional door by specifying FEWL or FEWR. When MD24 is specified, then the cabinet will have the option of one or two doors on the Functional End. In order to specify
two doors on the Functional End use FEWL2 and FEWR2 codes. To order, use the following codes with cabinet item code: FE — Functional End For Example: 1 Door per side 1 Door per side

Base, Desk and Vanity cabinets: • Full-height door cabinets receive one full-height functional door by specifying FEL or FER. Two doors can be specified for 24” depth cabinets by using FEL2 and FER2 codes. Drawer/door combination cabinets receive a drawer front/functional door combination to match. Drawer front on the FE side is not functional. • Cabinets with this option will come standard with full depth shelving. • Recessed Toe Kick will come standard on both front and functional end unless Wide Bottom Rail option is chosen. • When Inverted Frame option is selected, both face frames will be inverted. To order, use the following codes with cabinet item code: FE — Functional End For Example: W3936 2DDFIN CG FEWL Mullion Door Functional End Option • Available on Wall Cabinets • When any Mullion Door option is selected for the front face of the cabinet, the functional end door will automatically match the front unless, for overlay door styles, the cabinet is less than 15” high • Wide Stile Door Styles: Minimum cabinet depth is 15” (14 5 ⁄ 8 ” door width) • If a mullion door is not available for the specified cabinet a finished door will be substituted. • INSET: Available with Traditional Mullion Style only.
