We need your help this Christmas
Action Together’s Tameside Toy Appeal is back for 2023 and once again your Tameside Reporter and Tameside Radio are proud to support the campaign. Many families living in our communities face hardship and are living in poverty. Christmas is, as always, a diffi - cult time for families in Tameside, and the pressure to ensure their children wake up to presents on Christmas morning is huge. Recent research showed that
more than a third of Tameside chil- dren are living in poverty. ‘Heat or Eat’ will be a real choice for many families this winter and Christmas is something they simply can’t afford. So, it’s back for 2023, the annual Tameside Toy Appeal and once again we’ll be asking for your help to reach those children living in poverty... your donation could make a difference this Christmas! The appeal launches this week and runs until December 15. Once again the appeal is going out for
new and unwrapped toys and gifts for children and young people aged up to 18 years old.
