The Christmas Window Trail is returning to Ashton this year with some serious creative sparkle. The family focused trail will launch this Saturday (18th November) on the same day as the Tameside Christmas Lantern Parade and festive lights switch on. Twelve local businesses have teamed up with local artist Chris Anderson to unveil a magical window trail which provides a free and fun way to explore the town and local shops. For added fun, families can discover the name of two cheeky Christmas Elves by following the trail and finding the letters. Chris, from No Eyed Theatre, has also written a story to accompany the trail which is centred around a festive shopping list. The artist and business owners have worked together and truly collaborated to create festive window display ideas, channelling the creativity, imagination and talent of the artist to bring them to life for the trail and captivate passers-by with beautiful works of art. Additionally, local illustrator Christine Anderson has designed a beautiful map that can be downloaded
