concrete products, but there is far more on offer at this family-owned builders’ merchant. “Many people in the trade don’t realise that we are also a builders’ merchant,” admitted Andrew Gilliland, Director. “When customers phone to order blocks and concrete, many are genuinely surprised when I tell them what else they can order from our trade counter. “In fact we stock a vast range of builders’ & DIY products including roofing materials such as rooftiles, timbers and insulation; cements, sand and aggregates; MDF and plywood; Keystone lintels; electrical and plumbing items. “Our outdoor and landscaping department stocks decking and fencing,
for trades and DIY-ers alike.” Soon, all their products will be available at a click of a mouse. “We are currently developing a new website so we can develop our ecommerce business and push more to the DIY and hardware market. “The boom in home improvement projects during the Covid lockdown opened our eyes to this marketplace. We were getting phone enquires from all over Northern Ireland and even from the mainland for items and, like most builders merchants, we had extensive queues of customers each day at the shop.”
