T andragee Roofing Company and Building Services Ltd delivered an insulated flat roof installation to OHMG Olympic House project. The 2,500sqm roofing job was installed over two levels – floors six and seven. This involved priming then laying a double layer of Rockwool non- combustible insulation with adhesive followed by a self-adhesive underlay and finally the granulated powder cap sheet. The Co. Armagh firm also paved the courtyard and roof terrace areas with ornamental paving. Commenting on the project, David Laverty of Tandragee Roofing said, “This was a tight programme compounded by delays in receiving the Rockwool insulation on site, and the challenges faced by the large number of plant areas on the main roof, however we are delighted with the end result. This was our first Rockwool non-
combustible insulation installation and we are delighted with how it went. “Another major contract finished with OHMG. They’ve been very supportive to us over the years and are a pleasure to work with.”

B reedon Ireland secured the in Belfast. Formerly known as Whitemountain and Lagan, the recently rebranded Breedon Ireland supplied over 10,000 tonnes of high-quality aggregates and sub-base materials for the Olympic House project. “All our aggregates were supplied within strict specifications to meet both British Standards and the Specification for Highways Series 500,” said Phelim aggregates supply package for the prestigious Olympic House project Conlan, Sales Manager for Breedon Ireland. “Our sub-base materials were supplied to the Series 600 of the Specification for Highways Works.” Breedon Ireland supplied over 10,000 tonnes of high-quality aggregates and sub-base materials for the Olympic House project.
Commenting on the completed job, Phelim said, “This project was delivered exceptionally well by OHMG and Breedon Ireland worked closely with site staff on deliveries which involved some large volume requirements on tight time scales.”
