Bollards / Curbs Steel bollards are painted blue (excluding steel finish bollards unless previously painted) and large concrete bollards are painted dark gray. All curbs that have previously been painted will be painted dark gray (excluding unpainted steel finish curbs). If curbs were previously unpainted, they can remain unpainted.
Trash Receptacle Minimum of one Valero approved windshield service center/trash receptacle per fuel island.
Canopy Poles Canopy poles are painted Thundercloud light gray with blue and yellow column decoration unless made of stone or masonry. Existing pole cladding in good condition may also be acceptable. See more details under Valero Fuel Island Policy on page F17.
Canopy Pans & Exposed Guttering Canopy pans and exposed guttering are painted white.
Pump Number Signs Placed on each side of any canopy pole
adjacent to a pump at a right angle to the fuel island, 10’-6” above ground level measured from base of poles to rounded bottoms of signs. Can be applied with the same number printed front and back or a different number printed front and back. See more details on page F18.
Important Note: Valero Authorized Material Suppliers All materials and signage necessary to meet the guidelines and specifications set forth in this Wholesale Branding Manual must be obtained through one of Valero’s authorized suppliers unless otherwise approved, in writing, by Valero.
Important Note: Unauthorized Signage on Canopies Under no circumstances is it acceptable to install or display signage on the canopy fascia of either a temporary or permanent nature without prior, written authorization from Valero. This includes banners, promotional signs, pole wrap signs, warning decals, handwritten signs and notices, etc.
