and He was pleased with it, but there was still something else God wanted in this world. Now let me see if you can tell me what God wanted. God toon some of the dust of the earth and made it into the form of a man, but the man just lay on the ground, there was no life in him. Did you boys and gins ever make mud men or animals? Did they have, any life in'them? This man God made was just as dead as the ones you made until—God breathed into him, and then the man breathed too and was alive, because God breathed into him. We must always remember that nobody but God can give life. God named this man Adam. It was not good for Adam to live in this world all alone, so God made Adam to go to sleep and while he was asleep, God took a bone out of his side and made a woman out of the bone He had taken out of Adam. God brought the woman He had made to Adam and gave her to him to be his wife, so he would have some one to be with him and help him. Adam named his wife Eve. So now we know the very first man and woman in this world was Adam and Eve, and that God made them, and so if we ever hear anybody tell us something different, we can be sure our story is ti uo for it is from the

Next He divided the waters from the land and He called the water the seas or ocean. Whenever you go to the beach and look at the mighty ocean, you will remember that God made it. Who keeps the sea from flowing in over the land? Our Heav enly Father, for He cares for us. The dry land He called earth. God wanted the earth to look beautiful, so He made the grass to grow, and all the trees and flowers, and He made seeds to grow so more grass and trees and flowers would grow. Next God made the fish and all the things that live in the water and the birds of every kind. God made the animals, the wild ones that live out in the woods and mountains like the ele phant and bear, and He also made the animals that are so useful to man, like the horse, cow and dog. Now God saw the world that He had made was good
