THE K I N G ’ S B U S I N E S S true, for they saw for themselves how kind and loving He was to them and that He was really the Saviour, who could take away their sins and help them. John and Andrew found out the very best way to know Jesus, by going right to His home, and they both took Jesus as their friend and Saviour. They loved Jesus so much, they started out the next day to find their brothers, and when they had found them, they told them about Jesus, and then they brought the brothers to Jesus, and they too found out all that John and Andrew had told them about Jesus was true, and they also became His disciples, and found a great friend and Saviour. All the boys and girls and grown up folks that come to Jesus and know Him for themselves will love Him and want Him to be their friend and Saviour too. The only reason so many people do not love Jesus is because they do not know Him and have listened to other people who did not know Him instead of going right to Jesus like John and Andrew did, and know Him for themselves. Now how can we come to Jesus since He is not living here so we can see Him? Jesus told John and Andrew and the other disciples that after He went to Heaven they would not be able to see Him with

these eyes, but He asked them to always remember that when they came together to study the Bible, which is God’s word, or to pray, He would meet with them, and asked them to have churches where they could come together and worship Him, so all of you boys and girls who are here in Sunday School this morning, and who come every Sunday, are doing just what John and Andrew did, you are coming to His home down here, the Church to learn about Him and know Him better, and the more you know Him the more you will love Him, and you will take Him as your friend and Saviour. (A splendid lesson for the boys and girls who are old enough to decide for Christ.) Now that is why Jesus wants us to come to Sunday School and church; and to study the Bible, so we will really know who He is, and take Him as our friend and Saviour. Our memory verse tells us a truth that is very, precious to us that love Him. Let us say it over a number of times. f “He loved us and sent His Son.” What a wonderful love to send Jesus down here to die for us. Closing Prayer: Dear Jesus, we thank thee for such a wonderful love in com ing down here and being our friend and Saviour.
