En Ontario, 63 cercles 4-H ont reçu un total de 30 315 $. Ce fonds fait partie de la contribution de 1 M$ que FAC s’est engagée à verser aux cercles 4-H du Canada sur une période de quatre ans. En plus de soutenir les activités locales, cette contribution appuie également les initiatives des associa- tions provinciales ainsi que le volet national des clubs 4-H.

La résolution indique que la municipalité est « très déçue » par les récentes coupes du gouvernement provincial aux services en français, « étant donné que les francophones reçoivent déjà des services limités » et que les coupes prévues se traduiront par des économies budgétaires « minimales » pour le gouvernement. La résolution demande que le poste de commissaire aux services en français soit rétabli en tant que service indépendant, plutôt qu›au sein du Bureau de l›Ombudsman,
