A MOTHER’S PART
My dear son, Harold: I am thankful that God has blessed you with a wonderful wife and with children, and that He uses you all. You know that before you were born I asked God to give us a man that would dare to stand up for the Truth and one that was willing to SERVE. Also I asked that he would have real dark hair and brown eyes. Now that part of my prayer has made me feel kind of foolish later in my life - but God gave me my asking. I remember, when you as a little boy would be sleeping peacefully on my lap, I would pray, “Dear God, bless this child and let him grow up to love Thee and serve Thee. If You can’t see fit to use him, I’d rather You would take him as a small child to meet Thee.” I would rather have seen you with the Lord than have you grow up to serve the world and live an unhappy life. At that time I had already seen how Satan will start to ruin a young life from childhood on. As you grew up, whenever it seemed to me that you were not too
