FOSTERING FIRST-RATE NETWORKING FOR ALL CEO Andrew Main Wilson announces the location of AMBA & BGA’s global conference 2025 and the launch of an innovative new membership platform designed to host networking groups for business school professionals and students free of charge

I am pleased to reveal that the destination for next year’s AMBA & BGA Global Conference for Deans & Directors is Berlin, where the event will be held at the InterContinental hotel, from Sunday 18 to Wednesday 21 May. Now that the world has fully recovered from the necessary distancing effects caused by the Covid pandemic, we have witnessed a clear preference among our business school members for face‑to‑face networking at conferences. In recognition of this, next year’s event begins with a complimentary tour of Berlin on the Sunday and encompasses stylish dinners at two fantastic venues: the Orangerie on Monday followed by the Axica on Tuesday. The conference itself offers the perfect platform for discussing and sharing ideas and solutions for our industry at a time of unprecedented change and global socio‑economic uncertainty. We are set to welcome approximately 400 business school executives and innovative product providers from 60 countries; we are very proud of the fact that the conference price remains exactly the same as it was for our Deans & Directors Annual Conference in 2013. As many of you will already know, AMBA & BGA also provides free

members worldwide. The platform will also host a separate group for faculty and staff from our 290 AMBA business schools and 288 BGA schools. Among the benefits for business school users will be the ability to continue conversations following a workshop or conference; connect directly with faculty members or staff from other schools in a trusted network; share research initiatives; receive support from business school mentors; and follow up on programme consultancy reviews, plus much more besides. For students and graduates, users can join groups that correspond with their experience and programme level. Focused on careers and work experience, the network will allow members to find potential business partners and seek out industry advice. The platform will also include a mentorship page, where approved mentors can be booked by student and graduate users to receive direct career feedback and support. Recognising once again how our members appreciate AMBA & BGA’s constant efforts to deliver great value, I’m happy to be able to confirm that both networks can be joined by AMBA & BGA schools, as well as by students and graduates, completely free of charge.

membership services for students and graduates from all AMBA-accredited and BGA member business schools. Some 70,000 people worldwide are already members and – as many lack the spare time and financial resources to travel extensively – are keen to build meaningful networks online. I am, therefore, delighted to announce the launch this autumn of a brand new, innovative AMBA & BGA membership platform designed to host a networking group for our student and graduate “The conference is the perfect platform to share ideas and solutions for our industry at a time of unprecedented change and global socio-economic uncertainty”
