Angie Rossiani began her teaching career at The Lakes South Morang College – Primary Campus in 2010 and retired in 2021. Throughout her 11 years at the College, she taught across the Early Years, working with students from Prep to Year 2. Angie held the position of Team Leader and contributed more broadly as a Service Leader, providing guidance and mentorship to numerous new and pre-service teachers as they entered the profession. A strong advocate for students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Angie championed English as an Additional Language (EAL) learning across the College. She forged close connections with the Northern EAL Network and played a significant role in strengthening practices that supported EAL learners and their families. Angie reflects on her time at The Lakes South Morang College as deeply meaningful. The school community became a second family, shaping lifelong friendships and leaving her with lasting memories of the many students and parents/carers she worked with. She takes pride in the hope that her teaching has made a positive and enduring impact on the lives of her students. Today, Angie is a proud grandmother of three grandchildren, whom she adores immensely.
