Brook & Whittle Acquires ILS, Wizard Labels

Brook and Whittle has signed definitive agreements to acquire Innovative Labeling Solutions, Inc. (ILS) and Wizard Labels LLC in partnership with founders, Jay Dollries, Steve Wolf and Steve Smith. Brook & Whittle is majority-owned by private equity firm Snow Phipps Group, LLC.The closing of the acquisitions is expected to occur within 30 days. Jay Dollries founded ILS with SteveWolf in 1996 and went on to start Wizard Labels with Steve Smith in 2013. Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions Established October 1 marked a key milestone for the rebranding and launch of Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions.The press manufacturer has now completed the worldwide harmonized naming of all group companies.The new name has no impact on the organization and structure of the business unit. “The renaming of KBA-NotaSys to Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions reflects the operational and struc- tural situation that has existed for many years, and en- sures consistency across the entire group”, explained-
