SLAM Academy of Atlanta students in grade 3 will outperform the district by attaining 80% achievement for the 2018-2019 school year on OA milestone assessments.
Action Items • The super indent and instructional team will develop and implement the instructional framework to include benchmark testing.
GOAL
SLAM Academy of Atlanta will achieve its mission specific goals of having 90% of students participating in a sports STEM case, ensure lower suspension rates than the district and maintain 90% student retention during the 2018-2019 school year.
Action Items • 90% of students in grades 1-3 will complete a sports-based STEM project
• SLAM Academy of Atlanta will restoratively implement positive behavioral interventions and supports framework to ensure student engagement resulting in positive school climate and culture

MY PURPOSE, OUR PURPOSE.
At our April board of directors retreat, we discovered, armed our purpose in SkyWriting in alignment with the SLAM! Academy of Atlanta mission/purpose.
• To ensure young adults provided equal resources to succeed in this global environment.
• To be a problem solver and advocate for children of all abilities to level the SLAM playing field. • To restoratively connect children and families to resources and services that empower them to be successful throughout life.
• To create a standard that gives individuals the strength to successfully commit and execute an unfinished plan
• Help those with ideas follow their passion and help them obtain the tools and strategies to reach their goals. • My purpose is to operate in a spirit of excellence and unconditional love in order to challenge the status quo that exist in education…….
