LEDs help reduce power consumption and the amount of hazardous waste entering the environment. All LED’s are RoHS compliant and free of hazardous materials, including lead and mercury.
6.7 Renewing the Surface Illumination
Surface illumination uses long life LED lighting. In the event of the LED lighting failing, please contact Projector Dealer or Technical Service.
6.8 Lubrication
Periodically lubricate the slides with light oil.
6.9 Latch Block Adjustment
The tension of the latch block on the X-axis slide latch may require adjustment after a period of use. If necessary, please contact Starrett.
6.10 Calibration
Have the machine calibrated yearly for optical size and mechanical deviations. (Contact Starrett or an authorized distributor for details of this service).
