Acelepryn Xtra is labeled for the control of white grubs, billbugs, black turfgrass ataenius, cutworms, annual bluegrass weevil, ants, and other nuisance pests in turfgrass. For protection against snow mold, Instrata fungicide should be applied prior to snow cover. Primo Maxx or Trimmit® 2SC PGRs can be added at label rates or tank mixed to reduce clippings and improve stress tolerance. Any use should be initiated prior to the environmental stress. Growing degree days (GDD) can be useful to time re-application of plant growth regulators such as Primo Maxx. A base temperature of 0C is typically used for cool-season grasses. Growing degree day thresholds vary by grass species, management intensity, and local climatic conditions, so refer to local research for the best recommendation for your area. For greens applications, a water carrier volume of 2.0 gallons per 1,000 ft² is recommended. Use a flat fan/air induction nozzle that provides thorough plant coverage. If the target is Fairy Ring , fungicide applications should be followed by at least 0.1” irrigation. For all other applications, irrigation can be delay ed until the end of day. Turfgrass Parasitic Nematodes: Nematodes can be a serious pest of golf course putting greens. If your greens are not responding to normal maintenance practices, it may be beneficial to submit a soil sample to a qualified laboratory for a nematode assay. To manage nematode activity , apply Divanem® nematicide at 12.2 fl oz per acre every 21 to 28 days for up to 4 applications . Apply with adequate water and include a soil wetting agent for optimum results. See label for specific instructions.
