Annual Bluegrass Seedheads Recent research has shown fall is the time to start controlling next spring’s annual bluegrass seedheads since seedhead formation is initiated in fall under shorter days and cooler temperatures. Applications of Proxy ® in late fall plus spring improve control and consistency of control over the traditional spring-only applications.
