Microdochium Patch Microdochium patch (sometimes referred to as Fusarium patch in older references) can be problematic from fall through early-summer during slow cool-season growth and high humidity. Annual bluegrass is most sensitive to this disease, especially under wet conditions typical in the Pacific Northwest and coastal regions. Initiate applications prior to the onset of rainy weather in late summer or early fall. Continue applications on a 21 or 28-day interval through spring.
