Note: Recommendations in this spray program are based on past knowledge and should only be used as a template for building individual spray programs. Spray programs should be altered if environmental conditions dictate. Mowing will provide suppression of weeds and thinning of naturalized area. One fall mowing and 1-2 spring mowing (before herbicide apps) are recommended. If thistles, fleabane and other composite weeds predominate, dicot herbicide mixtures should contain dicamba, clopyralid and/or triclopyr.
