USA TRIATHLON ATHLETE BRAXTON BOKOS SWEARS BY OH!MINO! FIND OUR PRODUCTS IN HIS DAD’S ILLINOIS STORE

For father and son Preston and Braxton Bokos, fitness is the family business. Braxton is a triathlete with USA Triathlon, and Preston is a retired triathlete and the owner of Urban Tri Gear, a swim/run/bike store based in Westmont, Illinois. There, he stocks Oh!mino on the shelves. “I’ve been carrying it in the store going on a year,” Preston says. “I tried it for myself and felt that it was a good product, and my son Braxton approved of it based on his performances and how he felt during his recovery. It’s NCAA safe from what I can see, and it follows the guidelines. He tried other products beforehand, and he thought Oh!mino had more benefits on the recovery aspect and helped him get more strength.” The father-son duo takes fitness seriously. Their obsession with triathlons started when Preston began swimming competitively back in high school, and his coach asked him to train outside of the pool, too. “He was encouraging us to bike a lot, so I got a road bike and would ride about 20 miles before practice in the summer. Without even knowing too much about triathlons in high school, I was already starting that training process.”

swim class. A few years and many triathlons later, he started Urban Tri Gear to sell supplies to other athletes.

“Our store started out of the two swimming bins at the side of a pool down in Tampa, Florida,” he says.

Braxton started following in his dad’s footsteps at just 5 years old. At 13, he competed in the Chicago Triathlon's first Quad competition, crossing a total of 64 miles. His performance has only improved from there! Here at Oh!mino, we’re proud to count such an awesome father-son duo among fans of our products. We can’t wait to cheer Braxton on at the Olympics one day!

Preston ran, biked, and swam his first triathlon in Florida back in 2002 at the urging of the students in his adult masters
