The number of October detached listings in the Fraser Valley board area were 12% lower vs September (at 3,504) and 14% below October 2018. Detached sales increased by 14% from September, to 670, and were up 37% vs October 2018. The sales-to-listings ratio increased to 19%, as the board area’s condo market continued to be balanced. The benchmark price in October was $952,600, relatively unchanged vs the previous month and 3% lower year-over-year. The average sold price in October was $1.01M, 1.3% lower month-over-month and 1.6% lower year-over-year.
