The number of townhome listings in Richmond fell to 396 in October, 9% below the previous month but an 18% increase vs October 2018. The 85 townhome sales in October were 15% above September and 89% higher year-over-year. The townhome sales-to-listings ratio increased to 21%, as Richmond’s townhome market transitioned to seller’s market territory. The benchmark price for townhomes in October was $773,400, 0.8% above September but 9% lower than in October 2018. The average sold price was $807,948 (4% above September) with an average PSF sales price of $566 (4% above September).
