The 1,703 detached listings in Surrey in October were down 11% month-over-month and 14% lower year-over-year. October’s detached sales (309 homes) were up by 3% vs September and 34% above October 2018. The sales-to-listings ratio slightly increased in October, to 18%, as Surrey’s detached market remained balanced. At $1.05M, the benchmark price for detached homes was relatively unchanged vs September and 3% lower vs October 2018. The average sold price of $1.08M was 1.3% lower month-over-month and 2% below October of last year.
