A nniversaries are always cause for rejoicing. My wife and I have had eleven and therefore can rejoice in the news of a tenth celebration of a different sort. This month we salute Radio Station WMUU, broadcasting voice of Bob Jones University, Green ville, South Carolina. It commemo rates completion of its first decade of broadcasting the Gospel. For this reason I thought readers might like to get a first hand pictorial glimpse of one phase of this ministry.

More than sixty radio stations around the world broadcast the Bob Jones University pro duction "Hymn H istory/' shown in a recording session above. More than 130 stations in all carry programs originating at WMUU. We can certainly praise God for that which has been wrought in these past years. Residents in a 50 mile radius reg ularly tune in to hear “ The Good News Station,” which in addition to strong Christian programming has presented good music, news and pub lic service broadcasts. WMUU is sup ported entirely by the revenue real ized from carefully selected adver tisers heard over the air. In a sense, the ministry of Bob Jones University is world-wide in scope. Each week, three 15 minutes pro grams are broadcast by more than 130 other stations in the United States and in eight foreign countries. This ministry equals some 2600 solid hours of Christian broadcasting every year on stations other than WMUU. To Jim Ryerson and his staff, we send our hearty congratulations for a continued fruitful broadcasting min istry. As we have so often said on our own programs here in the West . . . “May the Lord keep you on the air, till Christ calls us to be with Him in the air.”

All courses are open to: Christian missionaries, pros pective or on furlough, men or women workers, who may be stationed in areas remote from qualified medical care
