She was at home in her own little bed and her mother was bending over to kiss her. “Where •— where — are — the Wise Men?” she asked. “ The Wise Men!” Peter shouted from the doorway. “ Are you dream­ ing? Presently, she would go with Peter and open her own gifts, but be­ fore she did that, she wanted to give her three gifts to the King: her heart, her prayers, and the promise of her obedience. She hoped He would like His birthday presents.
