What is the IQT Review Project? Ongoing assessments of IQT trainers have provided valuable insights into the effectiveness of this training. While the standard has been successful in training new instructors and enhancing their skills, training providers, IQT Trainers and project managers have identified specific areas for improvement. These points for development aim to better support new instructors and those seeking to upgrade their skills through the Instructor Qualification Crossover (IQTX) module.

The aim of the IQTX is to update experienced GWO instructors on their knowledge of the GWO Taxonomy Framework and align their understanding of adult learning principles with IQT competences. A feature of the new IQT Standard is that the IQT module (9- day course) and the IQTX module (3-day course) now share the same overall learning objectives. The reason for this change is twofold: • experienced instructors have enough experience and knowledge for the 3-day IQTX module to bring them to IQT level • the GWO Requirements for Training equates both the IQT and the IQTX modules as prerequisites for joining the IQ process for module-specific delivery.

What is the purpose of the IQT Public Hearing?

Since IQTX is now an alternative to IQT as a prerequisite for following the instructor qualification process, the assessment criteria of IQTX and IQT are the same. The five-day programme has been adjusted, based on lessons learned from previous IQTT courses. The IQTT module

The IQTT training record

Since IQTX is now an alternative to IQT as a prerequisite for following the instructor qualification process, the assessment criteria of IQTX and IQT are the same. Application process and governance for IQTX and IQTT is now, as for the IQT and IQTX, an enduring certification.
