Global Special Operations Forces Symposium—Europe AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition The 2025 Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition will convene Oct. 13–15 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washing- ton, D.C. The annual meeting and exposition is designed to deliver the Army’s message by highlighting the capabilities of organizations and showcasing a wide range of defense industry products and services. AUSA 2025 will also provide informative and relevant presentations on the state-of-the- Army, panel discussions and seminars on pertinent mili- tary and national security topics, and a variety of valuable networking events available to all participants. GovCon International Summit The Potomac Ofcers Club will present the 2025 Govern- ment Contracting (GovCon) International Summit on Oct. 16 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. (venue to be announced). The 2025 summit will unite visionary leaders from govern- ment and industry, alongside key fgures from DoD and U.S. combatant commands, to explore how DoD can fnd and contract for the best technology available throughout the international defense arena. The Introduction to Military Vehicle Technology and Mobil- ity course will be ofered Oct. 1–2 at the National Defense Industrial Association Headquarters in Arlington, Va. This course provides a comprehensive foundation in the engi- neering, science, and technology underpinning modern mili- tary combat and vehicle logistics. The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers will sponsor the 2025 AI, Science, Engineering, and Technol- ogy (AIxSET) Conference, Oct. 1–3 , at the voco Laguna Hills, in Laguna Hills, Calif. AIxSET 2025 is a hybrid (in-person and virtual) international forum focusing on the interactions between AI, science, engineering, and technology research disciplines. AI, Science, Engineering, and Technology (AIxSET) International Conference International Symposium on Empirical Software Engineering and Measurement The 19th Association for Computing Machinery/Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineering International Symposium on Empirical Software Engineering and Mea- surement will convene Oct. 1–3 at the Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa in Honolulu, Hawaii. This conference is a hybrid event (both in-person and virtual) and will highlight research results related to empirical software engineering. International empirical researchers and practitioners will present and discuss recent research results on a wide range of software engineering and measurement topics.
