New NAVAIR Confguration Management Tool Shawn Harrison A recent Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) article highlighted the use of an improved naval aviation confgura- tion management (CM) tool that provides common capa- bility and functionality across all NAVAIR program ofces. The tool pulls information from multiple sources, including the development, review, and archive of engineering change proposals, requests for variances, specifcation change no- tices, and review and approval of Confguration Control Board requests and directives packages.
