As we begin a new season of recreation programs, there’s much to celebrate. I’m pleased to announce that aquatics programming at the Tillsonburg Community Centre is back! While renovating the indoor pool to be more accessible has required more patience than anticipated, it’s exciting to be at the finish line and recognize this milestone with the community. Speaking of milestones, did you know 2025 is the 200th anniversary of George Tillson establishing Dereham Forge, the settlement that would later become Tillsonburg? You can learn more at Annandale National Historic Site—and at the Founders Festival coming this October.
