Dear Cattlemen: Welcome to our “Building with the Basics”, 41st annual, production sale. As to our past customers, thank you, to those looking for the first time we think you will find something that will fit your program. Our number one goal is to build better Angus cattle. It’s your success and sustainability that drives our operation and there has never been a time when the right genetics were worth so much. We feel there is a bull for everyone in the lineup with a nice offering of both Hybrid, Commercial Angus and Registered Angus bulls. The rapid changes in genomics and EPD’S make bull selection a constantly evolving process and an interesting time to be in the cattle business. We welcome any comments, suggestions, or concerns you may have and will go to great lengths to make your experience of owning a Gaaskjolen bull a profitable and enjoyable one. Our 2026 sale offering will consist of popular proven bloodlines as well as some fresh young genetics. You can put together half brothers for consistency, moderate birth weights for calving ease, bulls with substance, bone, eye appeal, and easy fleshing. The choice is yours. Whatever helps your program succeed. The bulls have been through a complete vaccination program, poured with Ivermectin followed by CleanUp. In addition to the normal protocol for respiratory diseases they have been vaccinated and given a booster for foot rot. They have been fed Hubbard Blueprint, a feed designed with growing young bulls in mind. It’s been a great year for these bulls. They have been taking full advantage of their pasture over the open winter and will be in good shape on sale day. The genomics prove this is a very high performance set of bulls. Again this year the birth weights are a mixture of being weighed on a digital scale, a spring scale, taping a foot, and a few are an educated estimate. In all cases they were born unassisted and calving ease shows up in almost every pedigree. Some are recommended for heifers. This is a strong set of bulls and represents roughly a third of our bull calf crop. They will be sold as commercial bulls with the exception of the registered angus, who are registered and have genomic enhanced EPD’s. We invite you to browse through the catalog and find the right bulls for your operation. If we can be of any assistance just give us a call and thanks for considering our bulls. Stay safe and have a better 2026! The Gaaskjolen Family
