WELCOME Welcome to our annual production sale and after 30 years of being in the Registered Red Angus seed stock business, we have made the decision to change our sale format from Private Treaty to Live Auction. This was a big decision for our family and after making the commitment, we are excited. Our program and customer base was built around our private treaty bull sale and has been nothing short of great for us. Over the years we have worked hard to raise a product, a set of bulls, and a cowherd that not only takes care of us but will also meet the needs of our customers as well. I’ve always said I want to treat our customers the way I would like to be treated and taking care of them after the sale of the bull has been our main focus here at Sandy Willow Red Angus. Working directly in the livestock marketing industry has been a huge asset to our program in knowing what the industry is after. The buyers and the feedlots want high quality cattle that can gain and convert, while staying sound and ending up with a high-quality carcass at the plant. The Red Angus female is highly sought after for their universal mating options and how user friendly they are for any type of cow/calf operation. Feeding: Bulls will be kept and fed free of charge until mid-April. At this time all bulls will be fertility tested by Dr. Nate Iliff, Sisseton Vet Clinic prior to delivery. Sale Terms + Conditions: Cattle sells under the standard terms and conditions as recommended by the Red Angus Association of America. The Matchmaker influence in our herd has been great, and the females are proving themselves right away by calving unassisted, weaning big calves, and breeding back with no pampering. There is a lot of value in buying a bull from a no miss cow family like Willow Jackie 2245, with 107 mppa. We use numbers here as a selection tool, but we focus on traits that make and lose money in the ranching industry like: mothering ability, consistent breed back, no maintenance, all while raising and weaning big calves. Every year the 1714 cow puts one in the keeper pen and wow this Matchmaker son is really good. Deep side, the right color, and so much eye appeal you will see him when you turn into the driveway! A good Respect son out of a 13-year-old Game Plan daughter. She has an excellent udder and a proven record. He is dark cherry red with a clean front. Keep his daughters to keep you profitable for a long time.
This Legacy calf is smooth made with a little extra frame. He is long spined and should calve easy. He comes with a top EPD profile. His dam did a great job on her first try, posting a 103 MPPA. The Legacy 373 bull was the best Identity bull we had seen.

Pie Legacy 373 son with big time growth and length of body. Moderate BW EPD and a lot of style. His Nexa Dam is big bodied and perfect feet + udder. We have to keep the length of body in these cattle – every one of my feeders demands cattle that get big enough – this guy’s steers will get big enough.
TAC Drifter genetics matched with an impressive deep bodied C-bar one way daughter. Our best bulls seem to be those that are complete in all categories. Check out his EPD balance and excellent actual weights. It is our job to provide our customers with the most progressive genetics and Willow Drifter 2100 has it all.
