Rooted in The Co-op School’s values of joyful learning and community engagement, each day blends themed enrichment activities, hands- on projects, outdoor time on our rooftop playground and garden, and visits from special guests that spark imagination and confidence. Older campers (ages 6–10) experience immersive, multi-week programs such as Robotics, Theater, Capoeira, and Animation, and venture beyond campus on curated Brooklyn excursions to places like the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Bridge Park. All campers benefit from a balanced rhythm of play, exploration, and community building, designed to nurture social confidence and broaden interests. With options to enroll for one week or the full summer and flexible extended-day care, Co-op Summer Camp supports busy families while offering unforgettable days of growth, joy, and connection.

Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s Camp has put kids in charge–allowing campers to choose from a variety of activities in real-time, including sewing, stop-motion animation, coding & gaming, sports & recreation, maker crafts, water play, baking, and more. As children are empowered to make their own choices at camp, they discover new reserves of confidence, resiliency, and creativity as they learn to make course corrections & trust themselves as they go. Families can buy any number of days, to use at any time–no weekly reservations required. Or, buy a Summer Pass, which covers the whole season. Either way, any unused Passes are automatically refunded at summer’s end. Ages: 4–12 Lunch, snacks & all hours (8am–6pm) included.
