With the completion of a giant 100,000 WATT TRANSMITTER and five curtain antennas high up on the bluffs of Monte Carlo overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, TRANS WORLD RADIO will beam an estimated 1,600,000 watts of effective radiated power making it one of the most powerful radio voices in the world. This new full-time missionary transmitter, the first in Europe, has been in construction for about a year and will be put at our disposal 24 hours a day in 1960. It will be located in Monte Carlo, Monaco, nearly 1000 miles closer to Moscow. The entire transmitting system of TRANS WORLD RADIO will involve an advance of over a half million dollars.
