Combination associations are most likely to indicate they do not have any process in place (45%). y Associations reporting increases in one-year and five-year membership numbers are significantly more likely to indicate they already have a

specified process in place to support innovation and new ideas. Conversely, associations reporting declines in membership over the past five years are significantly more apt to indicate they do not have a process in place for innovation and new ideas. IMOs with the most members (over 20,000) and organizations with more than $20 million in their operating budget are significantly more likely to have a specified process for innovation and new ideas.
