Our Police and Fire Departments share important reminders for celebrating Halloween and Thanksgiving safely? because nothing is more important than protecting our loved ones and neighbors. You will also find timely information on how our street sweeping program helps keep leaves and other debris from blocking storm drains, an essential step in protecting our neighborhoods from flooding and keeping our waterways clean. Make sure to read the story of a local business owner who has chosen to expand right here in Lewiston. Her story is a testament to the opportunities our city offers and the strong sense of community that makes Lewiston such a great place to live, work, and grow.
Looking ahead, November 4, 2025, marks an important election for our city government and city infrastructure. Participating in our democratic process is one of the most direct ways you can shape the future of our city. I encourage each of you to register to vote, learn about the issues, and make your voice heard. Finally, I invite you to get involved in our community beyond the ballot box? whether it is volunteering for a city board or commission, lending a hand at a local event, or supporting a neighbor in need.
