When we’re tired of turkey, we turn to tacos and tapas. Head to Casco Lounge for tapas sharing boards (friends and colleagues may also be glad of a change from stuffing for festive lunches). We’ll be filling up on Cafe Giardino ’s Full English with juicy Cumberland sausage. Or, if we’re doing brunch, we’ll go for a turkey or nut-roast
stuffed sarnie at Pret A Manger . When we’re running out of time and need a quick snack, a Pigs Under Blankets Baguette or Festive Bake at Greggs does just the job. Afternoon sugar rush? It’s the hot, sugary, Spanish doughnuts at Love Churros, with choc dipping sauce, or a warm-from-the-oven Mr. Pretzels cinnamon pretzel.
